The short version

You can use the passport check without giving us any personal information. If you choose to leave your email, we use it only to send you what we promised — your personalized results and passport reminders — and you can unsubscribe at any time.

What we collect

• Anonymous check data. When you run a check, we record the passport nationality, destination, transit country, and the result (green / yellow / red). This is not linked to you and contains no personal details.
• Email (optional, with your consent). If you submit your email, we store it together with the context of your check (result, nationality, destination, travel date, and the optional passport dates and blank-page answer you provide) so we can send you a personalized result and reminders.
• Testimonials (optional). If you leave a note, we store the text you wrote and may display it on the site.

What we do with it

We use your email exclusively to send the emails you asked for: a copy of your result, your personalized pre-flight checklist, renewal guidance, and passport expiry reminders. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Anonymous check data is used in aggregate to understand which routes cause problems and to improve the tool.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with Supabase on servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). The website is hosted on Vercel.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email we send. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at info@boardclear.ai. We will act on deletion requests within 30 days.

Cookies

BoardClear does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to count visits.
